Detailed
"If you succeed in judging yourself rightly, then you are indeed a man of true wisdom" (The Little Prince by A. de Saint-Exuperé). We put this quote into practise in the "Effective Leadership" training. We stimulate you to actively expand your self-knowledge. How does your behaviour as a manager come across to the people on your team? Where do your skills as a manager lie, and where are the pitfalls? We work with questionnaires that you both fill in yourself and have others fill in about you. You analyse the results during the training, and share these with your trainer and fellow students. You draw up an action plan to broaden your repertoire of skills as a manager. How can you become even more effective? Which roles will you reinforce in yourself? Working in small groups, you will then get to work on actual exercises. You work with your own case studies. The practical aspect takes priority. You will receive personalised feedback. In addition to the exercises, we also take a look at the latest insights in the leadership field. We use Marcus Buckingham's research as an aid. Large-scale research has shown that six important items emerge which you, as a manager, can influence among the people on your team. If your team members answer these six questions in the affirmative, then you have succeeded in being a good manager.
